Fields

None = 0

No server-generated key (keys are created on the client, e.g. using GUIDs)

Identity = 1

Keys generated in the database, e.g. using SQL Server IDENTITY column

KeyGenerator = 2

Keys generated on the server using a key-generation algorithm
